Griffin Research has joined in the CSIRO Kick-Start programme in 2025 to verify and design the processes to upcycle waste soft plastic into a decontaminated recyclate and a building insulation product that sequesters carbon. We hope to leverage the capabilities and technical expertise of Australia’s national science and industrial research agency to help grow and develop our start-up business. In so doing, we expect to develop new and novel technologies to secure sovereign capabilities for upcycling and recycling plastic waste into higher value low embodied carbon building products.
CSIRO Kick-start provides:
